Archery Range News

Two high power crossbow targets and two shooting benches coming for the archery practice area. A step up grant will cover these purchases. There has also a picnic table in the target area for members’ convenience. Repairs to the tower are in early planning stages.

These Boys Are Good At Weslaco, we have skilled archers that are super helpful. It's fun to watch them hit target after target, no matter how far.

A Game of Chance? Aim at a playing card to put together a good hand. Win some money too? Were do I sign up?

Lots Of Cool Targets Popping ballons with an arrow looks easy.....but it takes some skill. Eventually, you hear a "pop", and you know you did good

Fun For Couples Archery is something you can do with your sweetie and have some fun. Could this be your next date night activity?

The Guys Are Trying Hard These boys are trying to figure out this Archery sport. It's not hard, just listen to your coach and practice!

Firearm Safety Reminders

ALWAYS THINK FIREARM SAFETY!
1. ALWAYS keep the gun pointed in a safe direction.
 This is the primary rule of gun safety.

2. ALWAYS keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot.
 When holding a gun, rest your finger alongside the frame and outside the trigger guard.

3. ALWAYS keep the gun unloaded until ready to use.
 If you do not know how to open the action or inspect the chamber(s), leave the gun alone and get help from someone who does.
 
4. ALWAYS remember to wear eye and ear protection on all Weslaco gun ranges.
